Done. The solution is verified end-to-end and written to ~/SOLUTION.md. Summary of the work:
ensure_ascii=True turned ✅→\u2705, 🎉→\ud83c\udf89 (surrogate pair), ✓→\u2713, José→Jos\u00e9; grep -c '✅' dropped to 0.tasks.jsonl is spaced (", "/": "), events.jsonl is compact (","/":"); a fixed separator style made every compact line differ → events.jsonl | 6 +++--- whole-file diff.json.dumps(row, ensure_ascii=False, separators=SEPARATORS[path.name])
with an explicit per-file separator table (tasks.jsonl spaced, events.jsonl compact), an inference fallback, and preserved trailing-newline state.
